Why: As Jesus was concerned with children, so should the local church. Zion is a place where children are welcome and are trained in the truths of the Bible.
VISION STATEMENT
"So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish" (Matthew 18:14). Zion Baptist Church Children's Church is committed to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with our children and serve other children with the love of Jesus Christ. We will team with parents in laying a spititual foundation and advance the spiritual maturity in our children, reach othe rchildren with the gospel of Jesus Christ. "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name fo the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit," (Matthew 28:19).
MISSION STATEMENT
"But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of God" (Matthew 19:14). Zion Baptist Church Children's Church seeks to disciple children to be active spiritual followers of Jesus Christ and teach them about the goodness of God. We are committed to positively impacting each child in our ministry and community with God's love, and to develop dedicated followers of Christ. We will strive to teach children about Him, and make Him known to all children.
